Frequently Asked Questions

Clogged or leaky gutters are one of the biggest causes of basement leaks, mold, and foundation problems — standing water in gutters is also a common mosquito breeding spot. Leaky gutters can damage a house's fascia, soffit, or wood framing, wash out landscaping, and undermine driveways, patios, and walkways as water erodes the soil beneath them.
If you have steel or vinyl gutters, you will need to replace them eventually. If you don't want to be bothered with ongoing repairs, replace your gutters at the first signs of rust — little orange speckles showing through the paint, rusty stains at the downspouts, or seams that are separated and leaking. Gutters rust from the inside out, so visible rust means the inside is already rusting through.
Make sure the gutters you're purchasing are durable and come with a warranty that proves it. We recommend seamless aluminum gutters and downspouts — thick enough to hold up against tree branches, with no glued or caulked seams to leak over time since they're formed on site with our gutter truck.
